Just kidding.

My next door neighbour is a boat builder, and today was the offical launching of this new boat he just finished.

Make sure you check out the first picture first, to see what I mean about the wheels.

Cheers,
Hymee.

Some statisicts:

HABA 5 - Evolution

High speed wave piercing cataraman.

A brand new dive boat operating out of Port Douglas. Will probably make it's first dive trip to the Great Barrier Reef next Saturday. It is sailing from Brisbane oin Monday.

Length: About 28 metres, or nearly 90 feet.

Displacement: About 45 tonnes

Engines (propulsion): 2 x 12 cyl twin turbo deisels.

Max RPM: 2300

Max speed: 30+ knots

130 PAX

I was fortunate enough to go on it very first trip across the bay. 30.9 knots no problem. 1.5m swell.

I didn't even think of the twin screw thing.

Hymee, you have more pictures of the bows? I can't make out what they look like in the shots you have posted. I think it's the flat black the throws it off.
