If not maybe Hymee has a new business venture making an interface to work it.

I will buy one for sure.

What are you after?

I am data logging myself on racetrack and put it on video.

You have not seen my videos?

Yes I have seen your vids.
It is not just the data logging but the fact that you can play the run back on your PS3 and race against yourself on the PS3 that I find intriguing.

Imagine you go to the track then come back download it all to your PS3 then sit down and see where you hit the brakes the line you took through the turns etc.. Then ghost your lap on the PS3 and try and race against yourself and take a different line or brake at a different point etc then see if you lower your times in the simulation compared to your real times. Then when you find what you think is best line to take you go back to the track and try it again in real life.

I think it is neat idea and could be a real virtual training aid.

Only if GT5 has any Australian track. I doubt that very much.

Steering angle may not be recorded in the RX-8, but certainly from GPS position and speed one can calculate such data.

It is a nice inclusion but I don't think it is hard at all, even GPS position vs time can map a ghost in the GT5 and race against yourself real life.

Hasn't been confirmed yet but rumor has it that GT5 will have that ability to download custom tracks.

this is very very cool. I would love for them to get this to work right cuz I could see so many things going wrong
