Mazda rx8 2cyl?

So why does it on your website (assualttech) when you go through the vehicle selection, when selecting trim of the vehicle it only lists 1.3 2 cyl? I mean 2 cyl really?

SPHINX144 11-28-2009 12:36 PM

I believe they mean two rotor housings, most people would not understand what that means so they just call them cylinders. Also, I believe it has to do with marketing reasons, 2 cylinder certainly usually equates to a fairly fuel efficient vehicle--- oh but the RX-8 is so isn't.

mscamp02 11-28-2009 02:26 PM

^it wouldnt apply to marketing because these are for upgrades to the vehicle and if you plan on upgrading it you already should know its a 2 rotor
