the hottest thing in Japan is the women. I'm not sure why everyone is so hung up on this ricer fantasy bodywork crap

 

is it just me or are vent/rain guards huge on 8s in japan

 

Why are those vents so protuding from the body... why arent they seamless with the bonnet?

The vents are stupid, track car or not. Not to mention it looks like a 5 year old paint matched it, it's not even close.

Yea... I dont know why Japanese can be that awful at design at times...

 

That picture looks Photoshopped to me.

 

Looks like he just took off the outer plastic lens of the taillights of an S2, that way it will sit flush and not pop out as much on an S1. Not a bad look imo. But def looks ugly in that color. :/

 

^I might be wrong on what i said, the more I look at it the more it seems like a custom job with completeley different tails?

 

Sorry, I haven't posted for a very long time. Since I don't have my RX-8 anymore I rarely come here. I do miss my RX-8 very much. I came here cause I knew it was that time of the year in Japan....Tokyo Auto Salon!

I want to see more pics of this. Looks like RE updated their widebody kit for the S2. It is less gaudy then before. I want to see pics of the hood too.

 

the black car with the stickers I posted is the re wide body kit.
from the lip the silver one, it looks like odula in style.

 

I just checked Odula's site and they do not have any S2 bumpers listed. I was thinking it was RE's because the way they do the wide body up front is similar. Now I'm really curious who makes this kit

After going to TAS 2012 this year... These pictures do NOT give the cars justice at all. Never again. I took a boat load of pictures, will be posting them up when I get back to the states. When I say " GO TO TAS.." I mean it folks. It is a once in a life time experience that you will NOT get anywhere else.
