Is the hood dry carbon or wet? It's difficult for me to tell from the photos. Seibon just started a dry carbon hood and a dry carbon trunk so I thought I'd ask. Looks good!

Those look sick topgear! I really like the rpf1's. The hood in CF actually looks pretty good, but like you said, painted will be eeven better. Can't wait till it's finished because it is coming along very nicely.

You know, a few locals have actually asked me that as well. In person it looks like dry carbon. It doesn't have the glossy finish that most other CF i've seen does. So i'm not actually sure.

^Mine is the authentic MS bumper. And as far as I've seen, most replicas don't come with the black bar. But it's only made of some hard plastic...so you could probably custom fab one yourself.. And I bought my bumper in july from a local Mazda dealer.

^I actually have no idea, all of the above maybe? I never really inspected it that much while installing it.

Looks great, I love the RPF1s in black, carbon fiber hood is sexy... wonderful setup, just drop the car on coilovers, put a different spoiler/wing on and call it a day!

^I see that you are selling your RPF1's. Were they going to be a replacement? or just a track set?

looks good, tires seem to look a little thick? i like the carbon fiber look for the hood but i agree that it will be cleaner loooking painted. why not paint it with some carbon fiber stripers on the edge? simiarl to the roof of the car?

^Tires are 275's all around, which is usually the premium choice for 9.5" wheels, and since these are pretty much my AutoX and Track tires, I didn't want the stretched look..
