I can't tell for certain in those pics, but does that car have a sunroof?

If so, a non-sunroof RX-8 might be a better foundation to start from when building a koni challenge car.

Otherwise, congrats on the purchase and good luck with the build!

Looks like a GT to me with the 2 tone leather. If I was going to build a full race car I would've started with a base model.

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys. Yes it does have a sunroof and all the other useless to me stuff that goes along with the luxo model. My intention was to find a base but I found this at a local dealer and the idea of selling a rear drive sports car in the dead of winter in Rochester NY was too much for them to deny. They offered me a deal of deals and so now I have a bunch of stuff I can sell. If the parts will pay for some of the race parts I'll be happy.

Get this, I have two customers that are trying to out do each other, so now I will be building TWO cars! Haven't found car #2 yet but will soon. Dealers around here can't give them away.

There are a couple of little things needed. Passenger side sunshade is one. Do you have a build sheet you're using from Grand Am. I've got several Koni challenge contacts if you need any. Also, you got an email from ROAR, listen to them, they've got some fast cars.

Good luck, can't wait to see the progress.

Berg, would you like to donate your seats and door panels to me? It would be greatly appreciated since my car was in an accident. It's worth a shot.
