Heres the deal, going out to track on feb 26th. Group organizing is www.speedventures.net. They are a very good group, went out with them last month a willow springs, very professional, very safe, extreamly fun. Problem is I was the only RX8 out there! I need ur guys support guys. Speedventures has a ladder system for ranking drivers. If I can get 4 more RX8's to come out we can start our own race class, the RX8 class. Our next event will be at Buttonwillow, it will be my first time out there but i hear it will be real fun for our 8's cuz corners are nice and tight, just like we like em. there will be some sweeping turns too, so something for everyone. if u want to check the track map, here it is. http://www.speedventures.net/2-26-2005_event.asp

I've done allot of hobbies before, but track racing in a RX8 is by far the most fun i've ever had. Don't worry about fixing up ur car for the track, my first time my car was stock and it handled very well. message me if u have any questions, or look for my AIM, mikee615. come on out guys, lets rep the RX8 community on the tracks!

i agree. lets see more 8's on tracks. its what the car was made for. Just get a helmet and enter yourself into one of the beginner groups.

Thats the spirit. I might be consider going to this event and sign up as beginner/intermediate groups; but not sure whether to sign up for one or two days. The last time I went to the track was at Street of Willows, it was a blast.

I did a track day at streets of willow last year and it was a blast. I plan on doing more but so far work has got in the way...
