This year the rotary show will be held in the parking area behind The Circus Circus Adventure-dome. There will be several categories depending upon the cars registered prior to the event. Repus, old school, 7’s, and 8’s will be judged separately. 7s may be broken up into first, second and third gen vehicles if preregistration shows a sufficient number. All rotary vehicles registered in the show will be eligible for trophies.

I'm going to be driving through Arizona within the next month(hopefully, no set date yet) and still have a BHR flywheel and counterweight to sell. I will be passing through there via US-93 S., I-40 E, US-89 N, US-160 E, whatever the hell it is called. So I will be going by Kingman and Flagstaff and whatever inbetween. Just putting this out here in case there is anyone who might be interested in it for $450.

Hello, Im new to AZ
Living in north Glendale area. I have an 04 RX-8 that needs a new motor.
this is the 2nd motor, Mazda warranty replaced it, with a junker!
It had low compression and I had to run it til it died (due to my financial situation from moving across country.)
Now it has been sitting for a year.
Does anyone have any advice on good shops around here?
What is the best as far as replacing or rebuilding?
Did all years have this issue?
If not can I swap it out for a different year motor?
Is there an easy/cheap swap for a different motor all together?
I would love to hear you opinions and advise and or suggestions on where I should take it....

Hello Everyone, I'm a new RX-8 owner in Phoenix, Arizona.
I foolishly bought a sight-unseen 8 at auction and I've found that it may have been a poor decision. It seems it may have a coolant leak and therefore likely needs an engine rebuilt/replacement. I'm going to be swapping plugs/wires/coils this weekend to see if that helps out any, but only time will tell.
I'm surprised that there seem to be so few AZ members on this forum. There certainly is no shortage of RX-8s in the valley.

Brand new to the forum and to the 13msp. I live in Phoenix and have loved rotaries for almost 15 years now. Anyone know of any rotary mechanics still in existence? I know rotary rockets is gone, and my old contact at UMS hasn't worked there for years, but I just got a steal on an 04 and was looking for some guidance with a few things. Or, if there is a new forum where most of the AZ 8s are posting (since there seems to be very few posts in the last year or so), i would love to join.
