Exclamation Alright... who was this?!?
This was the 1st time seeing an RX8 on the road... it was someone blasting past me going into SF. I was just kinda loping around at 70-75mph when this person just explodes into view!!! I was frantic tryin to grab my camera... it was actually kinda funny!

The person was prolly going past 6k rpm so if it wasn't broken in then oops!!! Oh and BTW: try your signal stalk... I'm betting that isn't having any probs!:D

Is that RED thing a CA temp tag? Or just a dealer ad plate? I don't see a dealer plate either.

Maybe it was a hot car... and the driver isn't going to fess up... if he reads this board that is. :D

The red license thing is the dealer ad plate, but maybe you're onto something with the boosted car theory cuz I never caught up with the driver... although after the pic, I only half heartedly tried.

As for the orange mountain, it's actually Mt. Davidson separating SF from Brisbane and south SF. Not very tall but close by though!

At first driving til I saw the 8... then I was fumbling with my arm rest to get at the camera, and then using just one hand, taking a pic!!! what I do for cars... I swear...:p

we don't get temp tags in CA, just get a temporary registration pasted to the inside of front windshield

Gawd that pic makes me miss California. I lived in the Bay Area for 4 months working...love that drive into "the city".

Back on topic, that looks like a dealer car or dealership delivery with the plate like that...plus it doesn't appear to have any dealer installed options.
