Injector Dynamics Fuel Injectors
We are now a WholeSale Dealer for Injector Dynamics. We stock the following fuel injector sizes;
ID725 - Nominal Flow Rate - 715cc/min
ID850 - Nominal Flow Rate - 885cc/min
ID1000 - Nominal Flow Rate - 1015cc/min
ID2000 - Nominal Flow Rate - 2225cc/min
The most popular would be the ID1000s for Turbo Rx-8s.
These injectors have been proven to be far superior to anything else on the market. Each set is dynamically matched, this means they all flow very similar to each other. Not all fuel injectors come this way, they may be labeled 1000cc, but they can vary quite a bit. Injector Dynamics injectors also come with Flow and offset values from 8 to 16 volts across the full pressure range in 5 psi increments. If you are using an aftermarket ecu, these values are need to be inputted for proper injector operation.
We offer free shipping to Rx8club members too!

I should have mentioned these will drop right into the OEM Rx-8 Fuel rail. The electrical connectors are not the same, and do need to be soldered in( they are supplied at no additional cost). For a small fee we can supply injector wiring harness adapters, that require no soldering.

I spoke with T1 about this, and they said there are zero issues with the injectors themselves. Every unit is tested before shipping, and there are too many customers, and people at their shop running the injectors with zero issues.

Hi all.
This is Tony from T1 Race Development and Injector Dynamics.
We pride ourselves in providing the best products on the market and having the most technical information out there. We also back that with excellent technical support.
I'd love to hear deatails of the problems you are having and help you come to a conclusion on it. We don't dance around and deny problems, if there is truly a problem it will be handled.
That being said, there are over 25,000 ID1000's out there in use right now and if there were an issue it would be very widely known and we'd be well aware of it.
A fuel injector is a very small piece to a big puzzle. They often get the blame when they're not at fault.
If you're serious and want to get it figured out, please contact me at tony at t1racedevelopment dot com.
Please don't spread misinformation if you don't have facts.

If this is me 'telling you what to do', so be it. I'll continue to support my product and offer any insight I can as to why someone may be having a problem they feel is related to my product.
Almost seems clear what your 'your needs and goals' are.
If you want to have a technical discussion and get to the bottom of your problem then i'm all ears, but if you're not willing to do that then I guess you can't be helped.

So, answer them.
I don't have a problem. I don't have ID injectors installed in my application. They are sitting on my bench.
I voiced concerns completely in private with another vendor. I must admit that I am somewhat surprised to find you're attempting to address them here, this way, in public.
And that would be what? What, exactly, are you worried I might say?
Your whole approach is a bit worrisome, don't you think.

So lets talk about your concerns, what problems have you had with ID1000's?
Nothing to hide and nothing that i'm worried about you saying. Lets not play games, what problems have you had with ID1000's? Lets get to the bottom of it.
If there is a problem with them I want to know about it and I want you to be taken care of.

If you're still gathering data then I can understand and appreciate your attempt to find the root of a problem.
At the same time, you're insinuating that there is a common problem with comments like
"I'll say they work fine - when they work fine. "
"Maybe some other people with the 1000cc will chime in."
"I'm trying to find a commonality amongst the failures/difficulties I've seen with the 1000cc versions. "
Enough so that I was contacted by people who wanted to know what problems there were with the ID1000 based on your comments.
I just want it to be clear to all that if someone has a problem they believe is injector related with our injectors, I want to know about it. The combined amount of fuel injection knowledge and experience within Injector Dynamics is unreal and I can assure you you'll never get an "I don't know" answer from us regarding technical details.
Our contact information is on the website and we're here M-F 8-5, please feel free to contact us by phone or email with any tech questions.
