Are we doing like last year and making a list of who will be driving down in the group?
If so I'll be there with my co-pilot. I believe we will be sleeping at Thomas' Thursday night.

Yup, if you are planning on doing this please post up so we know to expect you

I plan on being there as well . I think I have/had 2 radios but not sure where they are anymore as the kids seem to "acquire" stuff that I don't use much - I'll post if I find them.
BTW - what route are we taking down to Kerrville? Hopefully something scenic like 281?
What 987 said. Generally we try to discuss the routes as little as possible on the boards since this is a public site (aka people that we might not rather see/know the route could be checking and we tend to be a bit paranoid)
We will not be doing something silly like taking 35 down however.

So from the pictures I've seen of the cars in the group, it appears no one is sporting a front license plate. I took my front plate off as well since I can't stand the way it looks, but I do have it in the back of the car. Any reason to bother mounting it again for this weekend?
Last year we were pulled over twice, for two completely separate things unrelated to the front plate. Both time we were given warnings about the plates, but nothing beyond that.

Scott forgot to slow down coming back into Kerrville. The really screwed up part was, we got passed by a corolla and a motorcycle, but the state trooper decided to pull all 6 of us over and gave all the Texas drivers two warnings (speeding and no front plate) and the Oklahoma drivers a speeding warning. As an aside, he was cool about it.
The other time, was some jack wagon called the cops saying we ran an RV off the road on the way back home. The RV pulled off to the side of the road and stopped so all the traffic he was holding up (again, a corolla was right behind him) could pass. When we rolled into Glen Rose, I was doing 5 under the speed limit and got pulled over. Ended up having to talk to the damn red neck, nascar watching (this did get brought up), jack wagon that accused us of running the RV off the road (he wasn't in the RV, but was behind us evidently). I think he wanted to yell at a kid, and I took some of the wind out of sails when he found out I was only 5 yrs younger than him.
And please don't think that's normal atom. We hadn't been pulled over ever as a group here locally or doing the state meet for almost 5 years before last year.
