Once upon a time in Arizona there was a guy who loved his RX-8. He washed and zaino'd it all the time. He made a website dedicated to his beloved car. He posted picture of his road trips. He gathered the email addresses of the various RX-8ers in the valley and pestered them constantly to come on drives with him.
Sadly life had its way with him and he was forced to give up his treasured machine. For a time he wandered the world regretting the day he had said goodbye to the beautiful black lines. How he remembered every nick and ding which had pained him so. How he yearned to once again hunt down the water which hid in the fender vents after every washing. The months turned into a year and more....
Until one day fate struck and life allowed him to return from his exile. He drove home in his second black RX-8 and rejoiced in his great fortune! For he had been given back what had been lost. A happier man is rarely found in these days.
....now the man wanders back to the forums where his friends once were and asks.....
"anyone remember me?"

Thanks for the welcome back! I'm looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting a few new ones.
I'm hoping to come out for at least the beginning of the poker run. I have some other commitments that may preclude me from attending the entire event but at least I can show my face
