This car is a daily drive machine runs on 93 octane fuel. with air conditioner, power steering
everithing like a stock , For traction i run on toyo Proses TR1 as soon the turbo reach 5 psi of boost it start to smoke them with out minor effort, in the track trim we use a 10" Slick in a 15" rims.

The cost Of total from scratch to end is around $7500.00 and project time was 3 mounth, The car have intac TCS/DCS/ABS aND HAVE THEIR TRAMSMISSION WITH FEWS UPGRADE TO MANAGE THIS KIND OF POWER HARDENED STEEL INPUT SHAFT HEAVY DUTY BEARINGS. THE REMAIN ITS COMPUTER WHY? BECAUSE THE CAR NEEDS THE IMPUTS FROM CRANKSHAFT TO OPERATE POWER STEERING, AND USE CAN BUS NETWORK TO COMUNITATE WITH THE GAGES CLUSTER TCS, ABS,DSC AND OTHER SUCH OIL PRESURE, WATER TEMP,AND A/C.
WE USE A MICROTECH LTX12'S JUST TO CONTROL THE ENGINE AND BOOST, THE STILL OPERATE BY OWN COMPUTER.

REGARDS

So you're using a Microtech also? Nice, that seems to be a popular ems.

I USE THE RX8 6 SPEED, WE UPGRADED INPUT SHAFT AND BEARINGS, tHE iNPUT SHAFT YOU CAN SEND THE OLD ONE TO MACHINE SHOP AND THEIR CAN FABRICATE ONE TO YOUR SPECS. THE YOU CAN FIND IN YOUR LOCAL INDUSTRIAL BEARINGS SUPPLY, WE SELECT A DUAL ROLLER SEFT LINING BEARING IT MORE STRONGER AND CAN HANDLE MORE RPM AND LOAD. wE PROVE THIS TRANSMMISSION AND IT IS DURABLE WITH THE EXEPTION OF THE SECOND SINCRONIZER AND 2 GEAR CROWN. MAYBE YOU NOT HAVE PROBLEM BUT ALL DEPENT OF THE DRIVER SKILLS.

The 20 B 3 Rotor Engine Not Come With Manual Tranny It's Come Only With Automatic Tranny, You Will Need To Order A Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel From Rx7 Of 1990 And Use The Clutch Assy. From Turbo Ii 240 Mm. That's Directly To Rx8 6 Speed Tranny Without Any Modifications, The Only Concern You Will Need To Use A 6 Spuck Sintered Iron Clutch Disc And High Performance Pressure Cover From Act. Why? Because The With Mere 6 Psi Of Boost It Fry The Organic's Disc One.

That sounds like a quite impressive setup. Do you have a dyno plot? Is the stock RX-8 LSD retained and hardened as well, or did you use an aftermarket unit? Did you encounter engine-mount problems? Weight gain from the 20b+ turbo? Are you using variable-split timing?

Rgonza,

It's Manuel,
Don't forget to call me before friday..................to talk about the labels machine.

All of the members of this forum are great Rx8 fans, and they would ask you a LOT of questions!
Some times they would ask you for proves.......................

Rgonza do it by himself, the manifold and a lot of others parts for the convertion to a 3 rotor......so he saved a lot of money!

I already get a ride on his car and is really fast!

Manuel

I helped him resize a couple of pics I had to drop them down to 1024 and lower the JPG resolution to get under the 200KB limit. The originals are 2080x1544.

i've never enjoy reading broken english so much lol

but seriously, you guys have some serious juevos down there in PR. people in the states would talk all day about how they could do this or that to make half the HP you do and make a huge deal of it on the internet. you just show up one day with the fastest rx8 in street trim in the world.

im interested in some more details on the rest of the driveline, namely the driveshaft, LSD, and half shafts. also why kind of modifications were required to the front subframe and the chassis to fit the 20b in place?

Don't feel bad but is huevos, no juevos.

I believe that it would be worse if we write in Spanish and all the members try to understand or write in spanish!. In PR we speak english a lot better, write it is more difficult................

What is important that we can communicate and understand.

Manuel
