First off, need to vent, just got back from lunch, when I walk out to my car, I discover that I have a FREAKING LARGE screw sticking about half an inch out of the front tire! AHHHHHHHHHHH! I'm pissed, I just got the car about a month ago, sooooo not cool....oh well, I've wanted to take it to the dealership anyway to have them check out the tint on the rear window, I didn't notice until about 2 weeks ago but in bright sunlight, you can see bubbles, or spots, in the tint job, it's brand new, I mean, drove it off the lto with 22 miles on it, so they should fix this for me right? But how? Anybody else have this problem?
Woow this is scary... I had both those things happen to me in my first month of ownership too!! Except the huge ass nail was in my rear right tire... I went to Just Tires to fix it for around $21
Ishu! No way! You had the same things happen! Small world! Geez, yah, I'm gonna give the dealership a call tomorrow and find out what they can do for both situations...do you know if the screw in the tire is covered under the warantee?

Well, I ran over my nail somewhere on the freeway, so it would be my fault, so I don't think warranty would cover my case. Tire repair is pretty cheap anyways at third-party shops like Just Tires, as long as the nail is in the tread... I'm not sure if the tire is repairable if it's in the sidewall.
Just a thought, but since you said the spots show in bright sunlight, do you by chance wear polarized sunglasses? Do the "bubbles" you see appear in a regular pattern? If so, this is just a side effect of the polarized lenses and you will see it on all cars which use the same process to treat the window. Next time you have a chance, compare what the window looks like with and without your glasses and you'll be sure it's caused by your lenses.

This polarized-sunglass effect caught me off guard the first time, and it was even a bit distracting, but I've gotten used to it.
