SF Bay Area: Open autocross invite

SFR Championship round 7. SFR SCCA autocross is this Sunday at the Oakland Collesium. My wife and I will be running in the third morning group. You're welcome to watch, ride with us or even try it yourself in your own car. PM me for details if you're interested. You can also visit SFR SCCA's website for more details.

Sorry, I'm out of town this weekend, so I won't be at the Auto Cross. But I wanted to know if there are any groups of RX owners out there doing any track days. I have done one at Infineon and last week one at Thunderhill. Saw a couple Bay area RX's at Thunderhill the day before my day. Track days are unbelievable and fun. They are expensive, but if there are groups going, I would love to know about it.

I've been to 3 track days at Thunderhill. A Miata group is sponsoring one on Jul 18 and so far I'm the only RX-8. Here's the link http://home.onemain.com/~bonster/teamracing.html.

I'll be at the autox practice event on 5/21 and Round 7 on 5/22.

Can't get enough of those track days and autox events!! :D :D

Thanks for the tip. I have contacted them and will try to get in. That may be a tough day for me, after the races at Infineon and all, but I'll see if I can get another day off.
