Nice.

Clear corners might look good, then again maybe you need the contrast.

there are 5 nut conversions and you could always buy that stuff... i doubt its a real type R seeing that they never sold it in america and a waste of money to import it

and its not RHD

Thanks for the compliments guys. And yes it is a real type r. It is a 1998 championship white acura integra type r. My friend did the jdm front end conversion the same week I bought my rx8. He was contemplating whther or not to convert the front end, but I told him he already had the recaros, might as well go for the full jdm conversion. He used to own an integra ls painted yellow and me along with the rest of my friends used to make fun of him saying he was faking it with a fake type r. So to shut us up, he bought a real one 3 years ago and it is now the masterpiece you see before you. He lucked out too. He bought it used with only 9000 original miles on it from an exotics dealership in Pennsylvania. Original owner was an old man. Car is still immaculate and has 22,000 miles on it after the last three years. Real type r's r a rare breed so i understand the skepticism, but its legite.

I dont know what country you live in but the type r was definately sold in america as an acura integra type r. It was sold in 97 and 98 available only in championship white. There was no usdm type r for 99, and in 2000 and 2001 you could buy it in either phoenix yellow or black (forget the actual name for the black). Came standard in us trim at around 195-197 HP. This thing also comes with a 10,000 rpm tach and he shifts over the 9000 rpm line as well. The front end is the japanese front end on his car because he liked it better and had it converted. But enough about his car, this thread is about my 8....lol. More pics on the way.
