Racing Beat Suspension Package

I am thinking of buying the RB Sway bars. I noticed on their website they have a "Suspension Package"

Link - https://www.racingbeat.com/FRmazda4.htm

It has the front and back sways, plus springs.

Anyone have the springs or can offer their opinion of the necessity of this? I don't plan on doing any autocross - just like the nice tight feel around the twisties (hence the sway bars).

Thanks!

As stated on the site it gives you a 20% increase in spring rate and a small .5 inch drop. Combined with the beefier sway bars that lesson chassis roll, if you can imagine, you end getting a ride which behaves like "it's on rails" even more then it did before. In short adding springs with the sway bar purchase further improves handling with only a slightly rougher ride than before (some say the increased stiffness does not register if at all). I've helped two people install RB sway bars, springs and endlinks and they really like the combo.

If that’s your goal then just get the bars, and then maybe MazdaSpeed front and rear strut bars. The install will be easier. I have the RB bars & MS strut bars and you WILL notice the improvement in cornering right away and not have to deal with re-alignment issues as you will have to with a spring install.

This weekend several RX-8 owners ran Road Atlanta, which has several turns.

The RB suspension package on my car performed admirably -- I was quite impressed. There is a little harsher ride, but it is very subtle, and is not an issue for me. This package eliminates body roll.

I have the suspension package (sways & springs) & front sway bar endlinks. Out here in LA the roads are nothing but horrible. I thought I was going to get beat up with a stiffer ride, but not at all. It is probably 10% stiffer, but not very noticeable at all. The car does corner so much better now. It is truly world class now.
