Neone have an 8 in san marcos? if so do you know of any meets newhere?

There are groups in San Antonio and in Austin... the Austin group is very active with scenic drives nearly every week it seems (good job guys!) and there is a growing group out of San Antonio that is developing each week!

Personally, I haven't seen much from the San Marcos area.
