Does anybody know if the back bumper in the autoexe pics is the stock unit painted or an autoexe product. It looks really cool. If it is an autoexe product, has anybody tried painting the stock unit in a similiar way?
Also, has anybody tried to merge the boot (trunk) lip spoiler to the boot as per the autoexe part? Also pretty cool! I think a good body shop could do this pretty easily.

The rear is a complete replacement, look at the number plate hole, different shape, and the lower section is different from stock.

There are a few people that have painted the stock bumper, search for user Harrizone on the rx8ownersclub.co.uk site. Problems with the correct primer though, as the heat from the exhaust can melt / bubble the paint.

Again has been discussion about merging various body kit parts into the body, side skirts for example, but going to need a hefty bit of re-spray once the gaps have been filled. Would look cool though.

 

I have the kit, should be done and on by Friday and it is a full replacement of the front and rear bumpers.
