hey guys just wondering if 2009 rx8 rear lights would fit my 2004 rx8??

wow, that's hideous, I like the new tail lights, but that fitment is an eyesore. For all the expense and work it would take it almost looks like a downgrade from the older ones, those don't even look oem at that stage, they look like garbage ebay lights or something.

are you kidding? The 09s are hideous. You could have mine if only the 04s would fit. I'll take your rims too. Funny as soon as Mazda fixed the car under the skin, they ruined the outside.

In fact, I'd even entertain the idea of swapping the lights plus the rear bumper, although even that is not sufficient as fitting the '09 lights require cutting and trimming metal. Let alone the fact that nobody tried to swap the rear bumper yet, so we don't know if the attachment points match. My bet would be that they don't, so such a swap is a pain in the ***.

 

I have a set of GT tail lights if anyone wants them they are both new and in good condition. Happy to ship them to the US. PM me.
