RX-8 seat color

I sound like a noob ...

anyway, just wanna know how many colors were there for the Rx-8's seat

I know there is Black, Black/Red, Black/Brown, and Tan(or Beige, like mine)

Is there any other color ?

and anybody know is the 09+ R3 Recaro seats are direct swap for the older version?

Parts number I found so far ~

Cloth seat - FE01-88-180D-02

Leather seat - Black - FE02-88-180C-02

Leather seat - Red/Black - FE02-88-180C-15

Leather seat - Brown/Black - FE02-88-180C-23

Leather seat - ?????????? - FE81-88-180A-80 (Could this be the Tan(beige) color seat???)

Leather seat - ???????? - FE91-88-180 - This one is no longer available. wtf is this ? It saids its for "SEAT TYPE-LEATHER C (CALIF>SPECIAL TUNED SUSP.) (FED/CAN>SPECIAL TUNED SUSP.)" sounds like its the Special edition Shinka seats from 05/06 ?

thx guys.

I'm pretty sure that the first year Lighting yellows had Black/yellow interior. I could be mistaken though.

Series 1..
There are 6 color combo's for Leather Seats...
Color 'Code' at end of Part Number..

02 Black
15 Red/Black
23 Brown/Black
34 Sand/Black
74 Grey/Black
80 Beige/Black

I think the 34,74 and 80 colors were used in the later Series 1's..like Anniversary and Specials.

Yellow, AFAIK was Only for Display/Concept.

Seat Runners....Between S1 and S2, there is a difference, But, I think they would mount into an S1 OK, but can not guarantee it...a 90% job.
The Only thing that concerns me may be Air Bag and Electrics Connections and Function.

What about that red/brown? color for the 40th Anniversary?

And also those beige-colored, mixed with alcantara and leather seats?

my seats are all beige, 2005 Shinka model, nothing black on the seats. so do u think if the "80" is what my seat color is?

oh one more thing, do you know the part number for the 2010 "Happy face" Mazda 3's service manual?

tryin to find the "free pdf" online but nothing. Guess gotta suck it up and buy it.

I am thinking more 34 (Sand /black)...Possibly...80

Look I will be Frank, or George, ANY Interior Color Coded parts are a TOTAL Pain In the ***...for parts guys, My EPC only cross references Australian VIN Numbers, BUT, production Dates are the same, BUT, again in this case production date as a reference is not enough (trust me).

Call a Good US Mazda Dealer, I am 99% positive their EPC cross reference VIN Numbers, Once entered it will show ALL parts associated with YOUR CAR ONLY...then they cant tell you the correct color code for your cars seats, etc.

So there is no problem of ordering or getting the wrong parts.

The Service Manuals are not listed in EPC's, (well not Australian), the Part Numbers Listing are obtained only from the Distributor through a Mazda Dealer...I don't have those details handy.

Try here for manuals..

... and the '05 Shinka has all-leather 'parchment' (beige) seats, and not the combo leather/alcantera of subsequent years.

^^ I know, thats why I said "nothing black on the seats"

hmm, maybe I should stop by the local dealer and like "yo, my seats are all ripped can you tell me the price for blah blah blah blah blah, just to get the part number"
