Jumped the 8 7 times or so last night, oddly it kept tilting forward. I was a bit confused since I only weigh about 150, and I had a friend in the passenger seat who didn't weigh more than me either. We've taken his scion xA and it never tilted much, though we may not have gotten as much air in it..
Either way, front definitely tilts downward enough that you can feel the front wheels hit followed by the rear wheels smacking down.
Not sure I'd want to try going faster than what we attempted for fear of flipping forward.. which would result in:
Anyways, anyone else jumped theirs?
Edit:
Before you guys say anything about illegal/unsafe etc, it's a road wayyyyy down South past Miami in the palm tree fields, there's no speedlimit signs, and there was absolutely no-one around for miles. We were there for 2 hours and never saw a single other vehicle. Kinda creepy almost.

Dont know what I was thinking, but when I was in college, I jumped my IROC late one night . Perfect hill to do it on. Holy shit. Landed flat and perfectly straight, but it was so high, it bounced. Radar detector flying all over the place inside the car... my ass left the seat even though my seat belt was on... didn't hit my head because the back of my shoulders were on the roof at one point.
Found out the next morning that I cracked my oil pan. Luckily my house was just up the street and I hadn't driven it very far.
Well, that was about enough of that. No desire to do that again. Check it off the list.
After replacing the oil pan, I did end up having to change the shocks a few weeks later. Nothing else broke. That thing could take some abuse.

It's a car, I like to enjoy it, jumping it was fun, and I'd probably not do it again, but it was worth it. I think it's part of one of those things you should do at least once in your life, make your car go airborne.

Sounds awesome lol, my jumps weren't as crazy, did come off the seat a bit, but it wasn't that huge a hump, still decent though.

Ah yea? Hmm, might be it then, I just held the throttle at the same position when I started going up the hump and all the way till I landed on the other side.

Crazy shit dude, I like, although I would not do it lol. Might as well turn your 8 into a rally car. At some point, the car will break down(just kidding)
Why not..? It's a car, parts are replaceable. It was fun, enjoyable, and exhilarating.
I didn't buy a car to baby it and be a pansy with it. Shit, if I wanted to do that I wouldn't have bought a car that's fun to drive.

It's your car, if the risk is worth it to you then go ahead. That doesn't mean it's a great idea though.
Never said it was a great idea, just that it was fun.
