Vegas: Group Drive 1/31/04

1/31/04 - Las Vegas Group Drive

Ok, this is the event that we have been talking about for a long time across the clubs. This will be a mix of all the car clubs in Las Vegas, and if you are a part of another club/forum, please repost this information. We will be driving through Lake Mead on North Lake Shore Drive towards Overton. The meeting point will be the Chevron at Lake Mead and Hollywood at 9AM. This is on the east side of town, up on Sunrise mountain. Everyone is welcome, but the attitude should be that this drive should be at the speed limits There will be rangers on the drive, so please be careful. Also we will be doing a group picture at the McDonalds in Overton to get a shot of all the cars and other shots of all the drivers that participated in the event. This event is dubbed "Vegas Group Drive 2004". More information can be found at http://www.swankmonkey.com

See you all there!

You know, I was around rampart/summerlin pkway, and then off to sahara after work yesterday.

Perhaps it was someone else? I'm spoiler-less!!

Echo bay is ok.... I usually prefer to run right up to overton.

I think we will stop at the lookout, it's just a few miles past caulville bay.

Ok...so I am a bit slow....but YES...the 31st is a SATURDAY....so I plan on being there.....

Just got my Rear Wing....Strakes....Rotary Accents....interior floor night lights kit....rear splash guards...now to find an installer before the 31st....

Most stuff I can do...but don't trust myself drilling holes in my trunk.....and the night lights look to be a job for someone with small hands.... the rest I can do... Just hope I find the time.

I'm planning on going to the group drive. How long do you think this drive will take? Just wondering. Thanks. See everyone there.

WELL...sorry to say I didn't make it.... those pictures could have used more BLUE..hehe Anyway....with Super Bowl....oh sorry...NFL rules...cant say Super Bowl. With the Super Party events planned at my work it made it impossible to be there on Saturday....I am sooo BUMMED.

THat being said..... the DEATH VALLEY run sounds awesome!! Just not during the FINAL FOUR or NBA FINALS or ST. Patricks Day even...cause I am sure to be called in to work...

Glad to see you had such a GREAT turn out... and can't wait for the next one....(soon I hope).
