Hey Guys,
I'm just wondering if there are any RX-8 owners who work/live around the Mira Mesa-Sorrento Valley area here in SD? I always see a Red rx-8 parked near my workplace thats got a lot of body mods (i think license plate is yjy). Anyway, if so - are you willing to meet up at lunch or after work sometime? I've got a few questions that have been burning on my mind and I'd love to talk to another 8 owner in person about them (like many of you, I've found that dealer service guys don't really know much or care to listen/diagnose stuff at times). Well, just thought I'd throw this out there....thanks!

 

Well i cant tell you who that is exactly, but every monday night at yogurt world/tea station. There is my rx8 and another one if you want to hang out. We have a weekly car meet outside there.

 

There are about 4 8's that I know that work in Mira Mesa. Two of us are on Huennekens and another is on Pacific Center Heights. I'd be happy to meet up with you anytime.

Initialsin: I know exactly where Tea Station and Yogurt World are, as I go to those places once in a while. You might see me around sometime. In fact, I was near there last night....If I had known I would've dropped by...

RotorMotor: I work right down the street at Mira Mesa and Flanders. As I said, maybe one of these days we can meet up at lunch or something. You're an active poster, and seem to be pretty knowledgeable about the 8. I know this is kind of a weird request, but if possible, it'd be great if you could make time to take my 8 for a spin. There are some issues that I would like another RX-8 owner's take on. As I mentioned, I don't really hold much confidence in dealer guys, I like actual owners' input better...

I love the car, and if I can just get these damn questions out of my head I can focus more on enjoying instead of worrying.
