I'd like to go but I'm not sure if my car is gonna pass tech inspection.

on a side note, can you register on the spot? I figure you've been there before

as long as the battery is properly secured and you don't have worn wheel berrings you shouldn't have a problem
this is an autocross not a full blown HPDE
VMSC events are usually fun and safe for all involved and the lot at VMP is friggin huge
