CEL after stall

So last night, I pulled into my driveway, ran inside for a moment, came out, and while backing up stalled the car. Restarting was difficult and thought, WTF? flood? Couldnt be as my car was well warmed up.

It finally started and both CEL and DSC were illuminated solidly. Drove down the road as I was afraid to turn it off for fear of flooding (?). No performance problems noted.

Back in my driveway, turned it off and re-started and DSC light was off but CEL still on. Put the car in the garage and would deal with it later.

Last night searched around for some answers and found a few forum members had the same thing happen after a stall but did not post a follow up. Maybe their problems just went away.

So just now I started the car and CEL on still. I figured the PCM was just confused after the stall and performed the reset.

CEL is now off and dont know what the code was. I need an OBD reader now.

Hard to be sure what caused the CEL. You did the right thing by resetting the PCM to clear the CEL. If it comes on again, take it to Autozone and have the code pulled, then post it here.
