Yep, thats what I like too. And the front strut bar is triangulated. The engine cover has a pop-off hole to get to the oil dip stick.

Seats are hot, wheels look good, dunno about the front, looks just like a regular bodykit other than a major upgrade or face lift.

Oh and I found this interesting - so those pre-released pics that were "debunked" were apparently dead on (minus the rims). Maybe this was the reason mazda felt comfortable releasing the official pics?

Wheels are hot... but i wouldnt buy them alone... It would just be hot to get with the car....

Looks like you could take an 04-07 and put a kit on it, and add those hot seats and make the same car... It is kinda cool though.

I think the front numper looks lame. It looks like the car has an overbite.

I also dislike the new steering wheel.

The rest looks OK, the only thing I like is the seats.


I can't wait till people with 2004-2008 start buying bumpers and misc parts to make their older car look like the STANDARD 2009 car, while the 2009 people buy aftermarket bumpers so theirs don't look like the standard rx-8.
