Who can stop them ?

The auto industry in China is a force not to be reckon with !

Even after GM n Honda filing suite against copyright ! There seems to be little that can stop them !

I am sensing that we will soon see brands like " Fa le Li " , " Lan Pao Qi Ni " or " Zhen Da " super car replica !

See the pics of their "Haima 3 !" can u guess which car was stripped out to replicate ?

I fear a " Haima 8 "

It make sense. Replicate and cut out r&d, design and marketing costs. Costs = cheap labour (maybe free? slave?) & cheap raw materials.

Sue them? Cut through the communist red tape and corruption first.

Don't need to sue them. The WTO can simply revoke their status and make it so much more expensive for overseas companies to operate in China that they would all pull out.

Well, there's this saying - "Copying is the highest form of compliments".. I am sure the Jap and Korean car makers are no strangers too.. 3 cts.

But it will be interesting if the Chinese can master the Rotary engine.. like they have made tourbillons in watch. But would you buy?

Since I had nothing to do, i went to the haima website to check on their haima8. Cannot find it though...but i do find the familiar haima3 and haima2.

Anyway, i am no chinese expert (i dont know how to read the words actually). But I do find a link to the mazda website from the haima website. Any chance haima and mazda are affilated?
