Scratched wheels/rims/alloys
Tryng to get as close to the kerb i slightly scrapped my alloys , whats the best way of rectifieng the damage allbeit slight its still annoying.????

I, also, have a 3.5 inch "cement curb rash" on my right front rim. (Turning left into a 'protected' parking space and, apparently, while beginning the left turn, the edge of the rim & tire contacted the curb as the wheel 'extended' beyond the wheelbase. I heard sort of a rubbery thump and thought I had run over a piece of thick twig. Parked, went back to see what I had run over, nothing there, really puzzled until I examined the wheel. I still don't understand how I could have been that close to the curb!!! Just don't understand!!)
Is a wheel 'surface rash' (very outside edge of the rim in my case) repairable? Can it be machine buffed away somehow? Or is this a boo-boo I will continue to accept (MY BAD!!) and live with?
