Aftrmrkt flyw., does it void warr.?

Hey all, planning on doing some future mods. Just wanted to know if getting an aftermarket flywheel will void my warranty. I've read stories of being denied of warranty work at dealerships because of aftermarket intakes, but never of flywheels. Any input? thanx

It really depends on the dealerships, they can be a dick (like all NYC dealerships), or they can take care of you like their son/daughter.

my experience, Some fuxkers at Great Neck Mazda tried to Void my warranty, cuz they said my intake caused the CEL (SSV solenoid), why dont they just admit that they dont know how to fix shit, too bad that my warranty is still here. and I fixed it myself with some stuff that cost me only 2 bucks. No more CEL, not even pending ones. nothing. Zero.

but yes, like SE3PSynergy said, they CANNOT void your warranty just because they *think so*.

and always SEARCH !

I would just get the mazdaspeed one, some dealer will try to blame anything to the aftermarket parts. Law is in your favor that dealer have to show that aftermarket caused the problem, but to me its not worth the trouble.

It would be almost impossible to detect unless they really knew what they were looking for. It's encased in the tranny. Unless there is a transmission/clutch problem there shouldn't be any issues.
