Took the RX-8 out for a drive.... some pix

Brought the 06 GT home over the weekend but didn't get a chance to go on a leisure drive. But yesterday was a nice day so decided to take her out to the country side and see how she likes it.

Trying to be creative here....

I'll add some interior shots later. Thanks for viewing!

Thanks all. Truth be told, I wanted white. But silver is a 2nd choice. After owning it, I really am digging this silver!
It's shot with a 30d.

#1 FTW The last shot is over-sharpened; you can see the jagged lines in the hood, etc.

:D

I like #2 myself, but the light focuses on the sky while the car is somewhat shadowed.

Actually the USM values are the same for all 4 pix. The last one's jagged lines are caused because of the image size adjustment after adding on the black frame.

The #2 pix was puposedly bias towards over-saturation to bring out the turbulent sky. It was not intended to be like a regular photo like the others.
xrider, pm me with your email and I'll send you a larger resolution one.

thanks for the comments all. The rx-8 is beautiful car to begin with.

Did you sharpen before, or after you resized?
