As suggested by Gyro_Bot... I think it'll be really cool to get some nice sunset pictures with all our cars. I hope this is advanced notice enough for everyone.

The 7pm meet time was Gyro's suggestion. Where is he?
Do you think maybe we should meet up somewhere earlier and end our meet at Burnaby-mountain close to sunset time? After all, it is Sunday and that way we could call it an early night.

Sorry dude, I'm not always online.

The Horizon park Restaurant is the best place to meet. If there is going to be a nice sunset on Sunday we want to be there early to get all the premium spots (the ones facing the sunset

- These spots get taken fast, be there early because when the sun starts to set, the parking lot fills immediately.

The Restaurant is a bit pricey, but the company and the pics will make it all worth it.

Check out the menu's.
Anything with Salmon will impress.
I'm also willing to be the "Call - to" person (in case someone can't find the place)
If you aren't sure about directions, email me, we'll swap numbers.

Gyro, thanks for all the pics and maps. It'll be helpful for all the folks that don't know the area. For me, I live just up the hill at the new apartments eastside of SFU. Your photo of campus must be an old one because I don't see any of the buildings in my neighborhood.
Anyways, you are right about Horizans, it is a good place... for a date. I'd still like to meet up with you guys a bit earlier and grab something to eat, but I'm not quite feelin the date-like atmosphere nor pricy menu of Horizons. Let me get to know you guys better before we all get romantic!

I was thinking more like the Mountain Shadow Inn pub or the Burnaby Mountain Golf Course clubhouse patio where we went last time. Both places are very close to our meet location and cheaper. But if everyone else wants to go to Horizons, I'll go along with that too. Maybe we should get a consensus. If we eat before we should probably meet at about 5:30 or so. Let's here what you guys think. List place you want to eat and time.

I agree with going somewhere else other than Horizons for dinner.... Thanks for the recommendation though. I'll definately be taking my gf there sometime.

I'm happy with meeting up at 5:30 and grabbing some food at either the pub or the golf course's clubhouse.

Meeting up at 5:30 should give us enough time to still find parking, right?

5:30 should be enough time to meet, eat, and make it up to B-mountain by 7:00. Anybody else have any opinions on place to eat?

Don't you guys think we should meet up at the place that we're going to eat first at 5:30 and then go to Horizon Park(B-mountian) by 7:00 after we finish eating? That's what I meant in my last post. Any preferences folks or do you guys trust Eldon and me with all the decisions?

Burnaby Mountain Golf course clubhouse was a great place to spend the afternoon at last meet. It was a nice day so we sat on the patio right in front of the practice putting green. If the weather is not good, we could eat inside too. Both Mountain Shadow Inn pub are literally about 2 minutes or less away from Horizon Park. Any objections if we start a new thread for a new time at 5:00 at B-Mountain Golf Course clubhouse then? I will include the names of the people who signed up already.

Hopefully the lot isnt packed at 7:00pm, I went to a bmw/benz meet there a few weeks ago and nobody could park together. Nice effort on the maps though! hehe

Btw, the reason why I'm even here is because I saw a white rx8 w/ gold te37 and mazdaspeed? kit...I was wondering if the owner is on the board. Anyone know of this car?
