RX-8 vs Imprezza

Hello guys and all the sifus here. I am shopping for a car now. Currently shortlisted to RX-8 and subaru. Initially already decided on RX-8 but suddenly this V9 appeared and strike me with good mileage and price. Can you guys enlighten me and some suggestions? Thanks in advance.

but the most important thing is which car u like....for what i read from ur msg u like subaru more than rx8 wow.....

p.s. oh, and if you are in your mid/late 20's, i wouldnt think long and hard about gettin the impreza...its a young punk's car, as the 8 is a slightly older, distinguished punk's car, LOL Peace!

if u drive to race go for subaru, good mileage is a lie. power is true.
RX8 is a sleek car that you go out clubbing a lot and get girls in your car more than subaru.

actually 20b is still under consideration , i wonder who can put it in properly for me as well .. who knows i will just end up with a mazsport turbo kit.

if u plan on buying 2nd hand, remember interest rates are so much more higher .. stick with a recond/unregistered/new rx8 :P

Thanks for the input guys. Actually I like The 8 a lot, especially the style. The interior and exterior is so much more nicer as compare to the imprezza and evo. Personal preference. I'm not too worry about the horsepower if I choose an 8. Because most of the time the potential of the engine is not fully explored. It is of course very good on the straight road, but smooth drive is the key to faster speed (Base on my limited experience on bike).

My intention of getting the car is to prepare for my wedding in November. 8 looks kind of nice to be a cart to carry bride, impressive.

Wherever show room I go, the salesman will discourage me to buy 8 and sell me imprezza. And this one imprezza is actually very attractive.

i never declare the up displacement la, still paying 54xxcc one now ... mine also expired, car also parking there now. maybe sell la if i don't plan to renew once more :P.

back to topic, i have tested the v9sti also, power is crazy. but, i am tired of a 4 door car. y 8? 2 door 4 seater, better looking, price is reasonable for recon 04 or 05, still in production, longer life span in term of replacement model rx9, so you probably still driving a new model after 6 years, if you dont change car very often. if you are looking for a powerful car without mod, then v9 is your choice, it really depends on how you wanna use it, if you are kaki midnite and like street racing, then get a v9.

if you wanna 8 with power, then wait david or lennon to sell theirs or ready to spend big bucks for heavy mod, hehe.. :P
