Is it possible to replace these LED/Blub ?

See the picture, one of the heater standby light is dead. I want to replace it, but cant find the part.

Anybody know if its even replaceable ? Or the Part Number ?

I think you have to replace the entire switch.

Wink Go for it......

Yank it out and take it to bits!

.....you have nothing to lose.

Pry up inside the cupholder to lift the back of the shifter surround, then pull straight up to lift it off. Disconnect the wires, then squeeze the tabs to free the switch - pretty straighforward after that, you either fix it or buy a new one.

Well I know how to take it off but I thought that the lights inside are replaceable ..... aye aye.

You could put a LED in there if you are good at soldering.

Still in warranty?

Might be able to get it replaced that way.

I find that removing the shifter and pulling straight up on the shift boot does a great job of pulling the console up that the switches are attached to.

No broken tabs for me yet and I have removed three or four other member's 8 console pieces using this method.
