Mods please close this thread if it is against the rules. I do not have this car yet. It is a "feeler" thread to test the waters. If I pick this car up, it will be with the intent to sell or part out as explained below. I will close this thread on my own if I do not end up securing the vehicle.

May be getting my hands on an 04 Rx8 automatic with just about 128k miles on it, and swapping out a few cosmetic parts with my rx8 before selling it as a parts car. My understanding is that one of the rotors is blown and is getting zero compression but everything else is supposedly fine.

I'm going to go have a look at it today (and have a go at deflooding it) but wanted to get this out there to see if it would be worth my time and effort. I would be planning on selling it as a complete car unless I had enough up front interest in parts, or something of value to trade, to recover my investment.
