I use the Megs special gel and apply it three times and then carry my car on my shoulders to work. Tires look great! My shoulders really hurt.

I thought about buying theirs since I use lots of Zaino...
How does it compare to other popular products; black magic, armor all, meg's...?

Don't get any on your tread - you can do burnouts for days.

I tried it on my ford escort, turned into a smoke show lol.

I love Black Magic Tire Shine, it's pretty much the only stuff I use on my car.
The key is to let it dry for a bit or the side of your car will end up wearing all of it.

ps. nice 4 year bump!

DOes Black Magic leave a glossy look ? Cause most tire shines do... what product leaves like a matte finish ?

diluted poor boys is what I use. too shiny looks bad IMO
black magic is too thick, at least for me, it gunked up into tire crevices and small lettering.

so the best way to remove the gunk is to use an old rag and just scrub the tires till it comes off. Then you can re-apply.

In my opinion all products like that eventually wear the rubber down, even plastic. After a while it will make the rubber or platstic cloudy or foggy looking. Also something to take into consideration is, it is not good to apply products like that in direct sunlight. Or atleast extremely hot days where the surface your applying to has baked in the sun for hours and then you go and put it on. Not good.
