Yes, you can pay at the track. $80. Only TopGunRX8 showed and it was great to meet you, had a blast. I might have screw-up something in the rear end sounds like the brakes are rubbing on the right side oops. Well I hope thats all it is!

No! No! Nothing like that. Going to jack it up today to have a look, sounds like somethings rubbing as the wheel rotate, also efforts the rear brakes sometimes under braking. Hopefully it's not a bent rotor.

That was fun...and it was great to meet you. This internet thing just might catch on. It felt like I'd known RXeckless for years...he was great at showing me the ropes.

I plan on doing this one other time before it gets really cold. My neighbour (who has a Z06 with some track time) was very jealous.

Brakes rubbing...huh...not sure what would have caused that.

Turn out to a sheared brake pad, some minor scoring on the inside of rotor. With the help of scottish new brakes on the rear in a hour & a half. So it turned out to be a great reason to have a few pints at my place and at the local pub. Thanks again scottish.
Had a full safety done on the car about 5-6 weeks ago with no mention of the rear pads be close to done so my local dealer is going to get a ear full. But in all fairness with a 2 day ADS, 2 track evening at TMP and the club meet at fabi it was bound to happen.

Yea, the more you track your car the more things are bound to wear out quicker than you'd ever think. But it all worth it and it's only money isn't it! If I was not doing this(the track) I spend more time & money around the house and that's not fun at all.

pistons checked and sliders checked every thing working fine .it was the brake pad surface that broke off the steel backing plate.some scoring on the rotor but nothing that the new pads and a couple of track days can't fix.

I'm swinging by, the appearance package is easy to do. Plus I have the RX-8 service manual now, on the iPad!

how are these holding up on track use? i heard they only last a few track days before they are toast and get fad far earlier than stock.
