I have a friend that goes to WKU down in BG... I get the 8 back from the body shop tomorrow... I'm excited to see it... Been driving a huge 07 charger in the meantime... Thing is like a hearse... Has power though for sure...

 

I have 3 daughters... 18, 15, and 8..... the lower ones are off limits ;-)

when i come up to lexington i'll let you guys know... maybe we can meet up... i guess i'm not really that old considering.. i'm 38.. i'm just glad to meet someone in Kentucky that has an 8... been waiting for a while..

I've already commited to going to the IndyRX8club boat party at Lake Monroe on that day. It would be nice to get a group together a little closer to home.

I recommend visiting the IndyRX8club.com web site. There a great bunch of people who know how to have a good time. It's only about 1:45 from here and the cruises/gatherings are a fun way to spend a day.

I'll keep my eye on this site to see if you guys set something else up.

 

Ya idk if ill make this weekend since mine happens to be one that has that problem downshifting from 6th to 5th at speed so im taking it to a mazda dealership fri. If i dont make this one please keep me informed about future meets down the road so I can try and make it.

lol that picture is hilarious... I'm drunk as hell I haven't been logging onto street scene... I just got my front bumper replaced and I worked on my headlamps earlier tonight. Converted all to blue. I have dark blue running lights atm due to O'Rileys only having two colors of 194... I think I might get LEDs down the road but we'll see... See you guys on the 6th! Oh yeah... I found out that there are two 8s in my neighborhood. A yellow and that green with a white stripe... I ran into a guy with an 8 at the bar tonight but he's moving to Boston or something that starts with a B so he won't be able to make it... Hopefully we get more peeps!

actually I live in Georgetown so im going to one that is on New Circle road not too far away, I got mine used with 34000 miles on it but i have the premium coverage on it so even if it needs a whole new transmission I only have to pay 100 dollars. But ya I kind of doubt ill have it this weekend they will prolly have it for a week or two to repair it.

My tire blew yesterday so I take it up to Big O Tires (Never Again). Today was a complete and EPIC FAIL. So I have to get the 8 towed up to the shop and it gets there at 1pm. I get up there and tell them I want the new Falken piex tires or whatever. So they're like cool, we'll have the alignment done and it'll be ready at 6. I come back at 6pm and pay for the work. When they pull the car around... I have yet another flat tire. This time, its the new tire and not only this, but I am also at this time informed that they accidentally destroyed my tire pressure sensor. I also noticed that there are dents and scratches now on my otherwise spotless rims. If this wasn't enough, they get some retard mexican that doesn't even speak english to come move my car back (I have nothing against foreigners - I am on myself - Half). While he's trying to put my car in reverse, he kills my car 3 times by putting it in 6th. I basically open the door and tell him to GTFO. So tomorrow I am going to go up there and speak with the owner. I'm demanding that he replace the rims, give me the tires free of charge and replace the tire pressure sensor. Tallying up what the total will be tonight so I can go in there guns blazing tomorrow morning. Anywho... Stay clear of Big O Tires on the corner of Outer Loop and New Cut Rd. Bad ****.

 

I might still stop by in the charger or something and take a peek so I can mingle with you guys though. This is if I'm not too busy with all this bullcrap thats going on... I got my Borla in today too... Too bad this set me back maybe another week...

 

WOW im so sorry to hear this. Hopefully you will get everything replaced. you shoukd mention you have pics (proof of the spotless rim) I took my old car to ken towery's because they said they deal with aem rims all the time so they mounted and aligned no problem.
But you should definitely stop by.
