I'm not going to be able to make the drive on 7/31. My father is very ill and has requested I come visit. I plan to fly out on 7/28 and will be out of town for a week or so. No worries on having the drive without me though. Or we can move it back a couple of weeks but not sure if that works for everyone.

Thanks, Nemesis8 He has terminal cancer and most likely will not see 2011. It has been a long battle and amazed how well he is doing considering the circumstances.

Sorry about your Dad, I lost mine to cancer.

Moving the drive out to a later date works for me. (I'm not even sure I'll make it out, due to my currently bad tires and brakes)

 

sorry to hear about your dad. My dad was lucky to beat cancer, but i understand how hard it can be on the family. Try to stay positive and you have us for support.

 

I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. I think we should move the drive date, I know how much you like that route, pdxhak. I wouldn't mind a few more weeks to make sure my thermostat and water pump have taken care of my overheating issues anyway.
