lol that is good one . but your right, i shoud let you guys enjoy playing Photoshop hero oopps i mean forzashop hero 3., while i still play my glorified demo . Only if march couldnt come fast enough.

nah, it will be out this march. reading japanese magazine, they are done with the game, just working on crash phyics engine, and weather , and day and night cycles. which they are at 75% complete. so yah march PD will be going into DEFCON 4

unti then, drool over the Flat black Matte color scheme, that you wont see in FM3

Ok, finished the car last night and it is up on my storefront. In doing a quick search last night, there are two other people selling their versions of this car....one is complete crap, made up of standard fonts and game provided manufactorer decals, and the other is decent, but he left out some of the details. Hope you guys like.

Sorry, didn't do much racing as I really wanted to get this car out to you all.

Simply search for Designs by car (RX8) and then once the designs pop up, switch to 'Most Recent" by pressing X. Mine was the most recent last night, so it should still be near the top, or at the top. If you press X again to order them based on "Highest Rated" you should see the other two versions of the #70 car prior to getting to mine. I might suggest you looking at the other two just to make sure you want my version.

I'm sure you will though

I'll be doing the #69 car next, but have two other projects to finish first.

Alfy, I'm assuming you don't own a 360, only a PS3? I used to be from your camp, but then my girlfriend bought me a 360 Elite for my birthday, and suddenly I didn't hate Forza so much

I mean, I know GT will be better, but I'm kind of a 'have your cake and eat it too' kind of guy, so Forza now and GT later is just fine by me.

And to be fair, Forza 2 came out in 2007, and Forza 3 followed two years later. GT4 was 2005, and GT5 will be 2010, so with FIVE YEARS in development, it BETTER be the better game!

actually you assumed wrong . i own one. my gamertag is alfy13 and another one i cant remembe for some reason. i just havent renewed my live account since i got my ps3. also couldnt justified paying for peer to peer gaming, and i really dont play my 360 at all.

i do have forza 2 (yes i am admitting that ) also rented fm3 for a week. its a fun game, dont get me wrong. but its sad when a 2 year old game (GT5P) has better driving phycis then a game that just came out FM3. and your right, its not fair to compare FM3 to GT5, but its fair to compare FM3 to GT5P

and having a G25 wheel that i cant use in FM3 is another reason why i wont be getting the game.

but 99% of my post are just jokes , i really dont take this seriously. just like messing with the forza fans that is all.

btw if want my honest opinion what i thougth of the game for the week that i had it, you can read my thoughts that i posted last week.

Graphics i was not impressed, especially cockpit view. even though it looks some what better then forza 2, it not any where near being the best looking racing game this gen, that Turn 10 claim it would be. Not even close to GT5p in terms of graphics

Sound are awesome though. but at times, i felt the engine sounds are little exaggerated, but still sounds good.

Things that annoy me are, no shiftnig animations at all. now this may not annoy forza only fans, but it annoys me. my reason is, i only play cockpit view, and since GT5p , Need for speed and PGR4 has this animations in their game. i have gotten use to knowing that i am down shifting (since i play MT on both controller and wheel).

but there are times, when i am thinking that i am not downshifting and over downshift my self, then realiaze that this game doest do those animations. so getting use not paying attention to what my driver is doing on screen, took me a while to get use to.

Another thing that annoys me, i wish you can have more then just 8 cars racing at a time. it may not annoy forza only fans, but once again it annoys me. i am so use to having at least 16+ cars racing . MOre cars to me, makes it more challenging, and nothig beats seeing a track jammed pack with cars .

Like TopGear said, they cars feel like you are riding a magic carpet, and not feel planted to the road. Which i also agree, but i think its because i am use to GT5P , so wen i play a forza game, cars feel floaty.

Drifting is fun in this game, but super easy to do. wasnt challenging at all. I even tried to make mistakes on purpose, but the car wouldnt mess up, Its very countersteer bias, also correcting oversteer is way to easy when compared to GT5P . But if i was to make those same mistakes on GT5p, i would of lost controll. So drifting in this game is good for ppl who dont have the patience to learn it, which is good for casual players. But it doesnt give me this wow i cant believe i pulled that off feeling, like GT5P does for me. Btw i have all the assist turned off, only way i play racing games.

but all in all, good game for 360 only owners. but not enough for me to shell out 60 for. since the only thing i do in GT5p (drifting with friends on line) is enough to hold me off till GT5, . the game is fun, but more of a causal lvl . but its just my honest opinion. I think its because i compare this game to GT5P, instead of just excepting the game as it is.

PPl complain that GT series is is to hard to learn etc, and its not casual friendly. Which is why i love the series. i dont want a racing game, built around casusals . that is what arcades games are for. Even though forza 3 is not a arcade game, i feel that Turn 10 built the game around causals (but its good for buiness sake) , instead of the real hardcore driving sim fans. having challenging AI doesnt = change of how your car would react in certain situations. Correcting mistakes is way to easy in this game (some what arcady), i think its that way so that your lvl of exciment never drops. but i prefer it be more challenging to correct mistakes.

Now there are things that annoy me in GT5 P also. but its not the driving mechanics that annoy me, its more of the Tire squeel sound, and lack of tracks. Since i dont go out and try to hit other cars, not having damage physics doesnt bother me.

Oh the loading times are horrible

There is a Mazdaspeed logo in red on the actual Speedsource GT wing, but Forza does not allow you to put decals on the Forza wing.....so I left the stock wing on the car for those who end up having a tuned car that does not utilize the GT forza wing. I also designed the paint to fit on the stock and forza front bumper....and a stock rear bumper as that is the D-class tune I have for the car right now.

Feel free to add a forza wing, just know there will not be a graphic on the wing.

....crap, I didnt check the trunk graphic with a forza wing installed....crap....I'll check that tonight and if there is an issue, I'll set up a free car on storefront for you to grab up real quick.

since I did the paint around the mS wing, the lines may not be crisp going underneath where the wing is, and where the forza wing would be installed. Oh, the little things when you think you're done.

Same goes for the others I know downloaded the file last night. I'll put up free downloads if there are issues with the decals underneath the ms wing.

How would you guys feel about doing some car swapping? I was thinking about it today, it could save us some time/money swapping out some cars for certain events. I know that I dumped way too much money into the drag races trying to get cars ready and you get next to no money back for them.

I know I have a Focus I'd be happy to 'gift' to people to use in those events. Just let me know.

Will Do....I have had the GT5p for about 6 months and am not even half way through and not at all bored... when the real game comes out i will be ready to PAWN the NOOBS....like ALFY...

Seriously......the only thing on the GT5p that comes close to matte black is the FORD GT Gran Turismo Tuned Version its CF but looks like DRY CF so it loooks MATTE BLACK>>.>>
