Well I have just changed all the fluids in my car, except for Brake Fluid.

Transmission: Redline
Diff: Castrol Syntec
Oil: Castrol GTX 5w20

Holy crap man, my tranny feels so goood!! And I thought it was smooth before. Also, I've noticed that the car pulls harder down low, especially in 6th gear. Before it creeped up real slow when at 3k rpm going WOT (don't ask my why I do this as I do not know :P) now it has a much faster throttle response and Reverse isn't acting up on me anymore

Now for the overall feeling. Just Wow. The engine is much smoother and overall the rx8 is just much more fun to drive around and makes better transitions to everything. It actually felt better now than when I had bought it in Late February.

Next up on my list is Spark Plugs and Ignition, I'm probably going to get the upgraded BHR one just because I get a good deal on Spark plugs at the same time.

Yes yes I know about 5w20. They had no more 5w30 and the distributors were empty as well, need an oil change badly so I said ok. But It's the winter, doesn't REALLY matter atm. During summer I will change it.

But Overall, It's in awesome shape :D

One thing though, when the garage I went to change the diff oil, there was metal shavings inside Looks like the person before me never ever changed ****. He said that I was lucky cause there wasn't much at all. Only at the Very Beginning.

So I guess my review on the past 13k on this car is pretty good, hope it stays like this for a loong time. (Knocks on wood)

 

just wait till you throw on the new coils and plugs and fatter wires
