Manuel :

Those are great news, have you test the 1/4 mile with your gtech now? Let me know when you are going to test it in the Manati racetrack.

Sounds like the best Dyno pull so far 268 rwhp , what would the normal HP FIGURE BE WITHOUT THE drivetrain loss 20 / 30%???

cheers

probably around 330 at crank. I think the midpipe made the most difference in this case.

Wow, nice! :D

So, hmmm... lets say Mazda's 238 BHP number is correct (possible, but...) Anyway, taking an average of RWHP people have dyno'd at, say, 185 WHP, that's a 22% drivetrain loss. So... 268 WHP + 22% = ~327 BHP. Not too shabby, I'd say! :D

Also sounds like the other mods (HF cat, Borla, flywheel, etc) are starting to really make a difference with a turbo'd car. 268 WHP - 240 WHP dyno I've seen so far for the Greddy = 28 WHP gain from those. Sweet! Makes me wonder what the SSR kit at 285 WHP plus these mods'll do. 285+28=313 WHP, +22% = ~382 BHP! :D

It mustbe the midpipe that is making the big difference b/c John has a catback and flywheel on his too but no midpipe.

I'm confused a walbro? I thought the rx8 didn't have a return, how are you dealing with the added pressure?

Im also using a walbro 255, My mechanics are the best SMOKINJOERACING.NET aka J&R Performance, the midpipe made a huge dif, the car is completely catless (Basicly runnin a straight pipe) the mipipe made boost raise from 5.3 to 7.7. She BREATHIN BETTER BOYS. that cat crap holds her back, the only problem was without the extra fuel pressure she was detonating in the high gears, but no more, my mechanic controls the walbro seperatly some how,but im dyin to post these sheets.STILL STALLING WITH THIS BOV Thats my only prob, n by the way traction no longer excists haha, Thank god i just got Sponsored soo hopefully i got some rubber.

We also installed the same Walbro 255 and now we don't have detonation in the dyno
in 4 gear. It's a great modification that would help to get more HP in the future...........
