Guys,
This year will need to enforce and truly emphasize our NO VEHICLES MOVING IN SHOW AREA UNTIL 2:00PM rule. This is a critical INSURANCE issue that is significant to the continuation of SevenStock. The last few years, some of the RX-8 guys have thought it funny, or cute, to come in and “sneak out” knowing the rules, and this has affected our insurance waiver. If we do not enforce this rule this year... that may be it for SevenStock as we know it.
SO PLEASE!!! IF YOU CAN NOT STAY UNTIL 2:00PM, DO NOT PARK IN THE MAIN SHOW AREA!
Again, there will be NO MOVING OF VEHICLES IN THE SHOW AREA/LOT UNTIL 2:00PM. When you go to pre-stage, one of the SS volunteers will ask you if you can stay unitl 2pm. If you can, then you will be sent to pre-stage, if you cannot, then you will be directed to a general parking area where you may leave at anytime you wish.
Your understanding and cooperation is appreciated and necessary to continue SevenStock into future.
Thank you so much!
SS Organizers!

Bern, does the insurance stipulate anything regarding running vehicles at all? I know some people like to start their rotary cars for others to see and hear. I'd hate to see the event canceled because of something silly.
Thanks Jedi!!! Your effort and help every year is truly appreciated!!
A little review and refresher before the caravan departs for Irvine the morning of... would go a long way!

Bern, it's always a pleasure to help out in any way I can.
I always have a little "instructional huddle" before departing for Irvine and I'll make sure to cover this topic.

we've always given a bit of leeway in this regard, for the engine start ups and revs. We do ask that if the hood is open, everyone be cleared away a sufficient amount, especially children... in case a belt or hose breaks. But even this is a bit of an issue. but the main challenge is moving vehicles! Moving cars and people don't mix well!
makes sense from a liability stand point to make sure we don't take any unnecessary risks.
although, if BMI brings their 4 Rotor then we gotta hear them fire that beast up.

see you on the 18th!
AWESOME!!! If you could mention it, that would truly help the event out. This and speeding out of the parking lot after the show ends, seem to be our greatest challenges, and ones that threaten the future existence of the show itself.

OOOHHH YEA!!! And they have confirmed that their SNAP-ON sponsored 4-rotor will be there!!!
