We aren't waiting around IAH. We've been at my house and just driving around a little bit. We stopped by my friend Curt's shop and got to sit inside the first Noble in Houston. That's a pretty neat car.

I've never had the option of leaving IAH when waiting for a flight. Might make it a little more tolerable. That and getting to see a Noble...

OK off to the airport. Let's try this again. If all goes well we'll be there at 7:05 pm pst. If not, Brillo will be there then and I'll get in at 8:55 pm pst. Here goes nothing!

and there was a Galaxy Grey turbo'd 8 right in line with the rest of the 8s last year that no one realized was there- it was a car or two over from the yellow and black winner.
Glad you made it down ok. I'm stuck at work still.
I get to go home and wash/wax the car tonight.

This year I'm going to make it a point to try to meet more of the people who's post I see all over the forum. (like you and RG)

BTW- As much as I like the idea of a secret car parked under our noses, I don't believe it.
Everyone I've spoken to, has told me it was a grey car near the stage, near the yellow/black winner.

Here's a pic of that row.
http://www.rx8club.com/attachment.ph...chmentid=61393
Starting from right to left, they are
AZ-RX8U (1st Place) --> SnowFl8k --> Kwescott --> Speeddemon32 --> KrazieKave --> CarribbeanSpiceBoy73 (2nd Place)
The 2 greys are Krazie & Carribbean, neither are turbo'd.

I'm still going to look for a secret car tomorrow though...

zoom posting on ajax's laptop

so im sitting here just having talked to Paul from Mazmart- who is sitting just a few feet away with Rick Engman(engine builder for Jim Downing) and Dr. Ianetti- having a nice big beer. The Dos DOg just rolled in- traffic in LA kept the Norcal caravan sitting still for awhile. Brillo and RG are across the street having just landed at the airport and are on the way here. Havent heard from Mazdamaniac yet. left him a message

Well we got lucky and both of us got on the flight. I had the last available seat! We got to the hotel and have already seen our first Pious errr.... Prius. After a quick change, it's off to the brewpub.

We arive at JT Schmidts and some people are already there. But who? Here's a picture of the first group. Going clockwise, in front in the black shirt is me, to the left is Ajax, Brillo, Paul (Mazmart), Dr. Francesco Ianetti, Rick Engman, Nina Lopez, Carlos Lopez (barely visable), zoom44, and danobre.

Good turnout but it doesn't end there!
