Last year I made it in 1183 miles one way - the West Coast Caravan was a blast! Not so sure I can make it this year. Maybe I'll fly down

I'm in. Does 2 cars make a caravan? Honestly though, the 7 guys have a large contingent that hook up at several locations thoughout the bay area before it joins up with the main caravan at the I-5.

So, how does it work then? I know some RX-7s are meeting up at Vallejo. I don't think a Vallejo drive for me would be practical, considering everyone's going south after that.

There will be a stop in/near SJ on the way south before cutting over to I-5. This is routine for a lot of the 7 guys. They have all the gas stops/ meeting points well planned. Just watch the forums as the date gets closer.

As far as the return trip, it's usually smaller groups of cars but just a fun.

How early are we talking. I get up at 4:45 daily, so I doubt it would be a big deal, but if they are meeting at 4am, I'll see you all there.

for the bay area folks here's the directions to the gilroy location that I pulled from the rx7 forums.

101 south to Leavesley Rd./152 west
rt. on Leavesley
1 block to Murray

NOTE: Bay area people can meet at Eastridge Mall (sears lot, facing tully rd) for our "mini" caravan to Gilroy
