help on wheels and tire sizes!!

hello, just recently bought an rx8, and was thinking about running some rota grid drifts on there, 18 by 8.5 on the fronts, and 18 by 9.5 on the rear, but wanted a big stretch!so going to run a 225 on the rear. was wondering if anybody has done this, and whether it is dangerous?or bad for the ride?or if the tire can easily split or anything like that. comments would be apreciated. cheers

Are you sure you wrote that correctly?
Anyway, go see the "Will it fit" thread!

Go up top to search, then advanced search, then on the left type in "Will it fit", then select titles only and search, it will pop up.

or just follow this................... Will It Fit Thread

I simply didn't know what to say........I really didn't. I can only imagine what that would look or drive like.
Hell, I don't even know if you can put a 225 on a 9.5? I imagine you could, but jeez!

Yeah 225 on a 9.5 seems ... way to stretched? Max I'd stretch is probably .5 inch or so but I guess that's just me.
