Sticky clutch pedal during fast release
Installed a new clutch about 1k miles ago and now it tends to briefly stick in the middle of the up travel, for example when I want to shift quickly from 1st to 2nd. There's also a slight "griddy" feel to the motion. The same thing happens with the car off. The system is fully bled as far as I can tell, and the pedal springs back up properly during normal operation. I don't see any fluid loss, so it's safe to assume that there aren't any internal leaks?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I'm starting to suspect that the flywheel resurfacing has something to do with this. Maybe the shop took too much material off putting the pressure plate too close to the flywheel which can explain the light pedal effort.

It happened to me also. I have to replace master and slave cylinder in order to fix the hydronic issue. Yes the pedal will resume normal pressure somewhat if you pump the clutch pedal to bleed it, but the seal of the master cylinder may have already cracked.
