battery flat charged and now no ignition light

i left the rx8 for two days and when i tried to start her there was nothing i turned the key and there was no ignition lights interior lights did not work so i disconnected the battery and put it on charge for twenty four hours i put the batter turminals back on and triedto start her ! there was nothing apart from the indicator lights on the back and front they was not flashing they just stayed on so i disconnected the battery again has anybody any ideas please

Sounds like the battery is just plain dead. Can happen.

Get a boost from a friend's car, if it starts properly, you need a new battery.

If it still don't start, check back here for Plan B....

How old is the car, battery etc.?
What kind of abuse has the battery had (lights left on, parkek up for 2 or 3 weeks with the alarm on etc).

If the battery is 'young' and not had any 'abuse' it might be worth getting the charging system checked when the batery is replaced.

Just a thought.
