2ND gear grind after clutch replacement.

Well here I am again listing another issue with my 8. So after my track day on Sunday I decided to change my clutch after abusing it so much at the drag strip. I had a new clutch kit already for almost a month and after pretty much annihilating it on the track I figured nows a pretty good time to change it.

Surprisingly it wasn't as bad as I had thought. But I still put the fresh clutch and pressure plate on it. While I had the tranny out I also changed the gear oil while I was at it. Started driving it and since the replacement......2ND gear grinds. All the time.

In fact it grinds pretty much everytime above 3k rpm. No other gear does this. Only 2ND. And only after I did the clutch replacement did this start happening. I'm guessing it may be the tranny fluid (Mobil 1 gl 4-5 fluid) but in case it's something worse I figured I'd post my issue in case someone else Ean into this. I have a 2010 R3, 140k miles on the body, 42k on the engine. Haven't had any problems since the rebuild other than a late engaging clutch(now fixed with new discussion and pressure plate) any other insight would be appreciated.

I guess it is possible the fluid made a difference, or the new clutch is dragging slightly... can you check to make sure the pedal is properly adjusted and the clutch is disengaging fully?

Hm, did you double check the pedal adjustment?
