Wiring footwell LED in S2?

Wiring footwell LED in S2?
Hey guys, I followed this thread https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-do-yourself-forum-73/diy-rotary-rasps-footwell-lights-leaked-205831/ to put a set of footwell LEDs in my R3.
The only problem is they work, but only when the car is in reverse!
Im guessing the red/yellow and blue/black are something different on the S2, who knows? Has anyone successfully wired these up on an S2 or R3? If so what wires should I use, I would prefer them working with running lights.
Help appreciated!

Let's see......
If your trying to tap into the parking lights, I show a BLACK/RED wire coming out of the fuse box (10 amp "TAIL" fuse) and going to the parking lights.
The other wire you would need is a ground which you should be able to find easily or make a ground connection somewhere.
